5’6”— i just started focusing on japanese brands a lot, simply because their clothing caters to shorter people while still being interesting. a lot of people will tell you to go slim, but i’ve actually done the opposite and i find i’m way more comfortable in large comfy clothing. i also try to stay away from super busy prints, or prints at all really as much as i like them. i definitely try to focus on cut instead, as it doesn’t come across as tryhard. favorite brands are yohji, nanamica, engineered garments, and beams plus.

Whenever I feel self conscious about my height, I just remember that Tom Cruise, Tom Holland, Kit Harrington, etc. all have great careers despite being my height. Granted, I'll never be as attractive as them, but it still makes me feel better
