I need a watch for under 100€ that I can just wear every single day. Not dressy but not too funky, although it can have fun colors like orange, green, etc. I don't give a fuck about movements.

>how can you tell if a watch fits your wrist? does it matter?

first >>15647070 .Second ,size your wrist width and see your wrist shape, round/flat. The next step is having the watch size, the case size, the lug to lug size, and the lug shape.
The watch does not fit you if the lugs are on the air on the most relaxed position, and also the lug to lug never should surpass the max wrist width. Overall, to see the fit, put the watch, look at the mirror and put the arm on the position Silvester is, that's the relaxed position, the other position is hand at the pocket. When you are checking the time the arm is not relaxed and is rotated, decreasing the overall arm wrist, many people do it when taking picks so the watch looks bigger and less proportionated.
See the pic, the watch is huge, but never cover the entire wrist width, that's the perfect fit, at the sides of the watch the arm should be visible. You can improve the fit if you get a smaller watch, specially if its not a tool watch, some watches are good when they are big, but the rest are not like that. Also you must be secure about your looks, you can pull things even if they don't fit, but if you don't have big dick energy you will look like a kid with his father's watch.

Sup /wt/, a few threads back I was asking about subbie homages and somebody pointed out this Steinhart kermit which I thought was neat, but I showed it to my lady friend for her opinion and she said it looked like a poker chip and honestly she's right. What's the point of getting a Rolex knockoff if it's not going to impress women? Or should I lean into it and go full hawaiian shirted sleaze? I'm at a crossroads here.

Nice. Some day I might teach /wt/ how to "make" tropical dials, but milking the Hodinkee crew is damn too profitable atm. It's funny how normans and journos are/pretend to be clueless about what is a smaller-scale industry by now.

muh in house movement+pleb minimalistic design+affordable luxury.

They have a niche with their designs and they appeal to more people. Tool watches?, tons of companies make tool watches and sport watches.Nomos makes slim and dressy/casual watches for homos, no other brand is so focused on that type of watches, even their diver is pretty similar to the rest of the models. So if you have around 3k and like that style you can have an awesome watch with in house movement that is really thin and looks good, only bad thing about them are the lugs if you are on the wristlet side. Their top movement in the Lambda model is also extremely nice, hard to believe its on a sub 6k watch (sub 6k for the steel version, gold versions are on the 15k range), that shows they are a real brand and that make their own shit and not just modify ebauches like other brands. Not saying other brands are shit compared to Nomos, but nomos deserves the praise it gets, they are good watches with actual pretty acceptable prices.

Most watches do not have integrated straps and can go on any strap that you want. Leather straps can be bought for $10 and up.

day 2 of my new citizen chandler.
coming from dailying a weekender, not having indiglo is going to take some getting used to. the lume does not seem to be any stronger than the weekender, so unless it's been around bright light recently it isn't especially bright. although maybe a bit brighter when fully charged? it is an impressive color of blue, anyway.
the cool part that I didn't realize yesterday is that the thin bezel is highly polished, so it looks really sparkly against the brushed case, pic related.
love having a day date. they do tend to throw the balance off, but this one isn't particularly egregious as far as they go. but I'm a bit of a space case so having today's day and date at a glance is really helpful to me, lol.

the point of lume is that when it's starting to get dark, it's very bright because it's been charged by sunlight for hours. after 20-30 minutes, it will greatly diminish in brightness, but then when you wake up at 4-5AM your eyes will be super dilated from sleep and in that low-light vision the low glow of the lume will still let the time be readable. it's obviously not as bright as an actual light behind the dial, but it doesn't need batteries and is much more elegant since it's passive.

I'm offered to buy a Fossil FS 4835 watch. I don't know much about watches, but i think it looks good. Anyone can offer any input? Price is about $110

It's a great watch, I've had mine almost 20 years and I recently replaced the crystal. It's as good as new now and I fully expect it to last another 2 decades.
