Not the guy you're talking with, but I recommend reading 'The Philosophy Of Fascism' by Giovanni Gentile if you haven't already. He essentially created the ideology from distilled Hegelian phenomenology, and his thought process is, at the very least, interesting. It also illuminates a lot of the inevitable failures associated with fascism. It involves subjugation in its most pure form.

It's a really unique (and, in my opinion, slightly disturbing) way of thinking. What makes it even more interesting is it exposes the key differences between Musolini's more 'pure' fascism and Hitler's National Socialism.

My personal philosophy I subscribe to opposes most authoritarianism (though I acknowledge that there are many limits to this ideology). All the same, I do not disparage others from having the opposing view.

So, to answer your question, it depends on who you ask. I would say that there are many great things that do not require subjugation, but there is a lot of room for debate.

2. Another pit is a hippie look, because combo of milsurp and unkempt long hair bring up this impression in 99% of the cases.

But in the end it depends on you, your complexion, face, what kind of hair do you have, the length, the product, everything matters.

Personally I would go in monochrome americana, it's an acceptable look in neofolk scene.
