No tits for ya, focus on the subject.
The smallest sizing might work, but I'm still not sure about that. Although I have rather rectangular body shape.

Unless it has some tailoring in the waist, these types of coats are pretty unflattering on women. Theyre meant for the boxier frames of men. If you were to use a belt on the waist it could look better (think belted trenchcoats), but honestly that would seem weird with a bridge coat such as the one you posted. If price isnt high you could give it a go, otherwise I would look for coats actually tailored for women. My two cents.

Idk man, I was specifically looking for non-tailored coat, maybe even slightly flared like pic related, but it was all waist fitted coats lol. I actually liked this one, but it only came in camel and I wanted black one. I honestly don’t even know what silhouette would work better for me. I’m not really hourglass framed, it’s rather a rectangular shape, but I’m not sure if the shoulders won’t look ugly wide on me. The OP coat is expensive af, it would be actually a shame to pay for taxes just to get it shipped back.

Get this uniqlo x jw anderson coat that released today instead if you don't want to spend a lot.

It sold out really quick and theres only navy left but they'll restock periodically and its not difficult to buy it if you bookmark it and check every few hours every day.

This one only fits for non-tailored silhouette.

I considered this as an alternative but idk I somehow feel I might be disappointed with the fit. Plus it's wool blend, but at another hand I'm not sure if I like this bad enough to really invest in quality.

Yeah not saying you cant do the boxy look, but indeed the problem will lie in the shoulders. These coats are rather structured in the shoulders and could possibly sit quite weird on a smaller frame and/or create over hang. Also, the sleeves might be way too long as well. You know, you could always go to a store or even better a thrift store and check if they have a similar coat (navy bridge and pea coats are pretty common) and see how you like the boxy fit.

As a side note. If they provide the measurements for the coat, you could see how closely you match up. That will give you a rough idea of fit

its not always a question of whether you could buy it new, but whether its prudent. waste is vice, and money put pointlessly into one item is money you cant throw into something harder to obtain or more expensive, like made to measure garments and the like. my habit of thrifting has meant that even after being legally forced out of business me and my partner have managed to build a new wadrobe, buy a new vehicle, and put away savings while also on the dole. spending that much money on what is to be quite honest a rather generic looking coat seems silly to me, if i were to splurge i would splurge on something made to order, or some nice fairaisle sweater made by a granny in scotland. you can also get some rather unique items new, and while my budget does not currently allow for it if i had the money there are some rather compelling sweaters on ebay from the 40s id like to buy.

I live in smaller town, I don't trust local seamstresses with making a coat from scratch. I guess they have a lot of experience in shortening pants and doing repairs, but not making things like that. Plus idk if they would hear me when I ask for masculine-looking military coat. Or, more realistically, if they only skilled / have a patterns for making a waisted coat, they'll try to convince me that waisted thing is better for me.

im not talking about a made to measure coat, thats just silly. im saying you can get military style coats cheap on ebay in exactly the sort of style youre talking, and then use the several hundred you will save buying an item at a pointlessly high price to buy something truly special, or made to measure online. in my own case, the goal is something like a made to measure pair of flannel pants, made to spec by luxire, similar to these, which will likely cost not an insignificant amount and cannot be acquired off the rack. and yeah, fuck local tailors unless you can find someone talented. if you want to know easily if a tailor is shit take some trousers in and ask them to put cuffs on them.

I feel like they're cheap for a reason. Wood blend or just low quality thin wool, poor tailoring, stuff like that. Plus idk if I can find my size being short, so it might take a visit to seamstresses anyways.

you should also keep in mind that online price is largely dictated by supply, not demand. quality shit can be had cheap if lots of people buy it, dont like it, and sell it on, to the point where you can buy BNWT shit online on ebay for 1/4th the price for major brands like ralph lauren, because they shift that much product that no matter what at any given point the price is being kept low by competition from other sellers.

There’s women’s coats that look similar. True but the fit is more important than how it looks and you have to make some comprises. No, it looks terrible having clothes that don’t fit properly.

It looks bad to me. Notice the shoulders are all frumpy(see pic I linked for suits but same for coats too) You don’t want that at all and it’s wayyy to big in her. The oversized look is good for hoddies and jumpers but not coats.

If you're gonna drop a grand on a coat, you had better tried it on. You could order it, try it on, and send it back if you don't like it.

Coats are too complex with the structuring and material to do major adjustments in tailoring. You can have the length shortened, and that's usually about it, certainly with small town tailors. Even that can be a problem and come out looking weird, due to messing with the silhouette and due to any vents in the back that a random tailor may not be great at maintaining. Even shortening the sleeves on this one would be quite the job, because of the way it is finished. Maybe the entire structure can be taken off and resewn further up, but if the sleeve is even only somewhat larger in circumference further up that would again be rather problematic.

But really, if this is something entirely experimental for you (i.e. you haven't worn men's coats, you don't know how they and let alone this one fits on you, you aren't confident in having the look even if you actually achieve it), you should first try on a few men's coats in stores, including thrifts, and you may well end up liking and buying one there instead. Also, your father or grandfathers could have something you can snag, or at least try on.
