Seagull is a good chink brand, they are one of the older watch factories in china and they print china made on the dial instead of using some fake european name. Lots of their designs are kind of derivative, but they don't really make 1 to 1 clones of other brands watches.
My favorite is probably the 1963 chronograph,
It's a bit confusing because lots of factories make this watch but they aren't all of the same level of quality.

spent the last 30mins fiddling around with a paratrooper strap and I have to say this is by far the most unwieldy and uncomfortable strap i have tried and that is including cheap cardboard perlons

its either just very slightly too tight or too loose for my liking

basically its a elastic band that the hook clips onto.
The excess is tucked under, or cut and edges burnt off.

the fact that it is elastic meant that the watch was constantly 'stuck' to my wrist with 0 spacing for ventilation. Not a fan of that sticky feeling especially in this tropical humidity

I must question your choice of PVD coating on the body though, because my experience with steel "in the white" is that it tends to reflect the blacks you're already wearing to mostly the same effect. On the other hand, it'll show wear in a way that's particular to PVD. So, six of one half a dozen of the other I guess.

It looks much better in person, the PVD coating is impeccable. True, it will show wear much more prominently but for a 140 eurobucks watch with saphhire glass and NH35 movement I won't complain. I do go for ion plated finish whenever possible.

i have brought probably close to 200+ misc items off AE at this point
i have used customer protection/refund about 5% of the time..missing items, wrong items etc

yeah I had one and loved it, however the 90s5 movement sadly has a big flaw in that the rotor only winds in one direction meaning it freely spins the other direction, this combined with a poor case design means you can hear the rotor audibly moving whenever you move your wrist, and boy is it LOUD! I sold mine because of it

90s5 is actually a nice movement, it does a lot for it's low price and has one of the nicest crown action tactility I have ever felt
