I've spent the last 9 months growing out a beard. A full beard too, not patchy, been trimming it. It's an itchy, scratchy fucking disaster. no amount of grooming tips can help. not only that, it gets messy, sweaty when i'm working out, and every woman that's said something about it doesn't like it. don't take the NEANDERTHAL pill, just stay clean shaven, even if you have good beard genetics.

If it took you 9 months to grow a beard it just means your beard is shit, so obviously it won't look good on you. I go clean shaven/stubble because I have a nice jawline but if I wanted to i can grow a full thick beard in a couple months and it looks good. Though its annoying, ichy, and food and drinks gets caught in it. Also makes me look older

I think beards looks good if you have muscles and semi long kind of messy hair. Its the skinny fat, extremely manicured undercut and gigantic beard look that is kind of outdated. But you might just have a face or personality that doesn't work with a beard, everybody is different. Ive had a lot of woman who told me they liked it when I had a decent one grown out

I get the most attention clean shaven but I have a meme tier jaw. Stubble is king for 90% of guys.

I'd love to have facial hair, but I just can't grow it. I'd argue that your facial hair should change by age. Shave in your 20's. Get a moustache in your 30's. Start with the full beard in your 40's.

I have a full beard for years. It's not itchy or messy, maybe you eat like a pig. My Gf loves it and I regulatory get compliments for it even from complete strangers on the street. Handlebar moustache + full beard is the way to go.
