As a man, do dressing in darker colours make you more respectable and serious?

Yeah, especially if your wise enough to match the colors to your complexion.

Color in order of importance:
Blonde or Ginger(with blue or grey eyes): Black, Grey, Navy blue

Brown (with blue or grey eyes): Grey, Black, dark green

Brown/Blonde/Ginger (With green or brown eyes): Dark green, other dark earth tones, grey.

Black hair(with brown eyes) Burgundy, dark earth tones, grey, black

Black hair(with blue, grey, or green eyes and light skin) black, dark earth tones, grey, burgundy
