My dad probably started balding then. My mother would only take my brother and I to the barber at the same time so our hair would be around the same length. So if he didn't have a lineup, neither would I.

My pops would cut our hair sometimes, but he wasn't very good at it and would do our lineups with a disposable razor. We were young at the time, so we didn't notice the lack of quality in his skills. When we got a bit older and noticed he sucked, we demanded to go to the barber.

They don't know. At the very most, they have suspected I might be gay and they've had years to stew on the possibility, but don't treat me any differently. I imagine they'd love me just the same.

My mother (she stayed at home that day, in case you're wondering) is very religious and my brother became a Black Hebrew Israelite shortly after high school, but their zealotry has lessened over the years.They'd have a problem with it, but I doubt it would be on the level of cutting off contact with me. They'd just have to suck it up.

As for my father, I'm currently at odds with him over something completely unrelated. We haven't spoken since or seen each other since May of 2012, so he's a complete non-issue.

Not really. I'm very happy with my life at the moment. Things aren't quite where I want them be, but I've been very lucky and fortunate. I'm especially fortunate and better off at this moment in time than a lot of the so-called "normies".

When all things are said and done, I imagine you probably have a higher probability of offing yourself than I do.
