i won’t hurt you but i recommend the made in england ones to anyone reading this thread who wants to keep their boots looking brand new, because they’re a lot sturdier. but a tip for people who
like brown leather boots, their tan harvest leather patinas really well especially when regularly oiled properly. i have the basic chintzy vietnam versions in tan harvest and they’ve ended up looking spectacular in a darker walnut hue. the thing with docs is they can look meme-y both when they’re brand new and when they’re completely destroyed like warped tour-core so a well-worn pair that you take care of will look great. also you should have multiple different types and styles of boots. what i mean is, don’t choose between docs or solos or red wings or allen edmonds or danners or wolverines....get a pair of each. they’re all meant for different occasions, styles and aesthetics.
