Yes and no. While /fa/ or other online spaces can't replace genuine social interaction, there's something to be said for having somewhere to discuss shared interests with like-minded people. It may have been a badly dressed, meme-y shithole, but I fondly remember old /fa/, and each time I pop in, I'm both more disillusioned with youth fashion and more painfully aware of the fact that I'm outgrowing a space that holds a lot of positive memories.

Pants? Possibly, depending on where you live. Denim? You'd be better off grabbing something off-the-rack. Firstly because depending on where you live, it'll be hard enough finding a competent tailor to make them out of wool or twill or whatever, and secondly because its unlikely that outside of specialty denim boutiques ala self-edge, they'll have the equipment to do the riveting and other detailing that makes jeans distinct.

CPs

There's something very sad about the way ordinary, middle class folks on /fa/ scrimp and save for them and treat them like a religious icon. You see them in shoe collection threads all the time, where the guy will have his work shoes, maybe some meme boosts or knit shoes, a pair of Vans that are clearly worn the most of anything, and a pristine pair of CPs in fucking shoetrees that look like they're only worn in WAYWT fit pictures. It's depressing the way they try to latch on to this item that none of their economical peers would even recognize as expensive, especially when the reality is that CPs are just standard "wear them for a season or year and toss them" shoes for people in a higher tax bracket, no different than a pair of Stans would be for a middle class person.

These are always the guys that come to mind as "victims", desu.

Yeah, I don't see why not.
As for other details I'm mostly thinking of rivets, but chain stitching also comes to mind (if you're into that), and then of course there's some of the unique distressing and finishing you'll find on older Julius jeans like what >>15335235 posted.
Not saying any of this is impossible for an mtm job of course, it just strikes me as a needlessly complex way to go about getting a pair of pants that you can find premade and new relatively easily, or used, barely worn, and (if you go the classic Julius route) bombproof with a bit of digging.
Also adding to the brands list, check Individual Sentiments as well.
