I'm a milsurp basic bitch and I only have a flecktarn parka and a m65. I love the parka but it's a shame it's so overplayed. Still I don't see it as often as m65's on the street, but it's a pop culture icon, so complaining about it being overplayed would be retarded. Oh, I also have a milsurp tube scarf that isn't very effay but it's very practical and compact so I keep it in my backpack for when it suddenly gets cold or I forget to take my scarf from home (obviously not an issue now because it's summer). The last thing is some basic black cotton gloves that are worn out by now and I should just get rid of them

For reference I'm that dude who always wears jeans tucked into the 10 eye doc martins, and people say the look suits me. And although I love my docs, I know there are other options, and they've become kinda a meme.

Big reason I ask is because I work in a bar, and may get a pair for bar work and a pair for wearing in life. Docs are durable as fuck compared to most shoes, and I want boots that actually do hold up to that. I figure anything used by an actual soldier would easy beat docs, but worried the name is just a name.
