It's up to your tastes, for they money I would rather get a 5610 but if you like the casioak it's a good watch. I think that colorway is out of stock or marked up heavily right now because it's a really popular watch and casio isn't making enough to keep up with demand.

I did and he suggested a GMT Master which I liked but that's a very different watch from a simple Datejust. The other one was the Sky Dweller which they had plenty of but I thought it was overpriced and looked ugly.
It's not a big dealer and they didn't have too many Rolexes for me to try on but even worse was the waiting time for a new GMT Master. Guess how long their current wait list is: 7 (seven!) years . So basically a scam in my opionion and I left without a watch or a reservation.

Yeah I know but to be fair 36 mm was simply out of the question after 5 seconds and we were scouting the lineup for something bigger in size and it wasn't even a big price difference. But fuck waiting lists. I'll just save my money and when I come across something nice in my size I'll buy it on the spot.
Maybe I'll change my opinion on the proportion of the 41 mm DJ but it looks so weird. The bracelet tapers to the exact same (rather small) size as the 36 mm model. And that big empty face...I dont know.

I don't know, I value lume quite a bit. Obviously you're gonna have a better experience with a dive watch but pertty often I go somewhere, sunny outside, wait for my host/the doctor/the elevator/whatever to open the door while I'm waiting in the shadow. My eyes are still adjusted to the super bright sun and now I'm in a dark environment. Perfect use for lume, even if it only lasts 20 minutes.

the dial is better framed by the case, there is better integration of the lugs to the case design, the lack of crown guards elevates it by embracing simplicity, the thicker numbers pop more, and the triangle formed by the numbers in the seconds dial mirrors the layout of the numbers on the main dial, a nice touch.

Mainly the proportions.
The hands and 3-6-9 indexes look too thick IMO. The other index are too long.
The complex/cold logo clashes with the flieger design and the bezel is slightly too thick too.

Why aren't there any good,functional ladies/girls watches besides the small digital casios?
A sub 40mm diver would be great, but the only option seems to be ice watches, and those are just terrible. 3 threads back or so I got some more suggestions, but they're all hard to get in Euroland.

that is inherent to silicon straps. natural rubber straps don't have that problem but it's a different material. washing the silicon strap a few times helps lessen the dust clinging problem.

Depends on what the situation is with the dealers around you, the no date sub is in less demand than the date model so it should be easier. A lot of dealers will put you on a waiting list but move you ups the list or suddenly pull one out of the safe in the back if you buy some other watch you don't actually want.

There's a shortage of the popular models. Some say it's Rolex sitting on them to create demand, or that the AD's do it and sell them on grey market for higher prices. Or that the Chinese buy so many of them.
Some AD's will have a waiting list, others will sell to returning customers who have bought a bunch of other watches from them before.
It's basically all a shit show and people get mad that they can't just buy a new Rolex submariner from the AD.

You have tons of options these corona days. As you do your research consider modified ETA movements from big brands such as Tudor and Breitling. These manufacturers will sometimes make serious improvements, such as adding silicon hairsprings and regulating them to very high standards.

For example, this Breitling Bandit is titanium, with a modified V7750 movement that is chronometer rated. It can be had for under $3,000 on chrono24.
