I have the Same Exact hair texture and length right now. I'm going to get it cut this week and ask them to shorten the back a little and then layer the top so that it flows better into the back. It looks like a bowl cut sitting on top of a mullet at the moment but some simple layering and tuck behind the ear will greatly improve it.

Why does my ends curl upwards? My hair tends to be wavy and frizzy, but the ends I can never get it to sit straight at all. My hair is straight out of the shower, but they curl upwards as it dries.

To dry it, I use a polyester towel, a vented brush and wooden brush.

i get the ends snipped for like 2 cm every 6 weeks

My hair is thick as fuck and starting to look ridiculous. When I get out of the shower it has a kind of messy look, but combed back I think it looks pretty decent. When it dries it starts to get a bit chaotic and it’s so voluminous it begins to make me look like one of the women from the B-52s. Is there a way to maintain the “fresh out the shower” look that keeps it relatively “flat”, but without being full of shine like some old gangster? In terms of style, don't sweep it back like that.
Grow it out and go for something with a fringe that covers your temples. Such as pic related.
