Yeah sure if you like them, but if would adviseto invest in some cheap used Chrome Hearts to resell them when you don't like em anymore

I'd be cool with getting a watch. I have a really low amount of expenses, relative to my income, so was mostly going to take 4k in cash, 9k to invest with, and 1k to do something nice for myself. Got any recs?

I wear a lot of Veilance, Patagonia, and quaratine core (pjs lol). I work in tech, so dress code is fairly lax

Based, I don't really know how to pair jewellery with this kind of stuff but i kinda like those CDG Champion ring, there are other more minimalist jewellery brand that would seem more fitted with this kind of apparel, le gramme notably, or since you mentioned a watch i would recomend you to invest in a nice second hand movement, they're not as expensive as new ones and getting interested in watches can be addictive, but hey, I'm just a random stranger on the internet, so do what you want

not him but for a daily beater I would actually recommend a Gshock, something like maybe the ga2100 series or the 5610

>respected brand in watch community
>affordable
>0 fuss, no unkeep
>tough as shit
>fits your outdoor and tech vibes
>comes in all sorts of colours and add ons

yeah the OP image was mostly shitposting. I never splurge on anything (I buy all my veilance second hand, and it's usually in immaculate condition anyway). Thank you for the recommendation. I've never really looked at watches at all, but seems like it would be fun to get something for myself, since I've worked really hard the past couple years and have doubled my income.

Seiko SARB017 Alpinist (old model)

>outdoors field watch
>mechanical (no batteries, works with tiny gears and springs inside)
>shock resist, waterproof
>has a rotating compass bezel to find the directions just by using the sun (neat, i guess)
>can be dressed up

discontinued but has a big following so prices are rising.

Whatever you do, just dont buy a fashion watch, they are extremely overpriced and poor quality anyone who knows anything about watches will internally laugh at you

So no Daniel Wellington, MVMT, Gucci/Fendi/ Armani/ Fossil

stick with proper watch brands--Casio, Orient, Seiko, Citizen, Tissot etc.ask in the watch gen if you are unsure

These are both really nice. I'd be totally fine with either of them, but that SARX055 is really pretty. Maybe I'll try to find one of those second hand.

ya its very nice and sharp looking..100% classy, elegant, simple but not boring, timeless design

there are other models with various hands and dials as well, they make a lot of models

heres another loved model, Seiko Cocktail Time. This is the SRPD37J "Mockingbird"
bit too shiny for some, loved by others. This is extremely dressy, more like a watch to wear to functions.

If you happen to be more of a bracelet guy the SARB017 has a lot more options, pictured here is my own with a Ginault Glidelock that elevates the feel of this watch to Omega-tier.
Pretty much anything in the SARB, SARX or Presage lines is worth the money second hand so plenty of stuff to choose from.

While I'm not a ring guy I do agree with the others here, get a good secondhand watch and save the money.
If you really want a ring theres some really talented silversmithes thatll make some custom for way cheaper that'd be much personal as well imo
