You're shit.

Microbrands are almost always significantly better than their major brand competitors in the same price bracket. There's not a single diver Seiko/Swatch/Citizen makes that's even close to the build quality/finishing of a Nodus/NTH/Zelos/Helm/Borealis in the under $1k category. It's literally not even a close call. Seiko deserves respect but for the money a microbrand will always be a better buy unless you're trying to resell it later (and most sub-luxury watches have fucking garbage secondary market resale anyways).

Seiko currently has a 4th gen model that looks emasculated. They softened the harsh angles of the design. The revolver chamber bezel is ruined, they got rid of the shark teeth indices, and then they put this low quality magnifier on the crystal.

They also doubled the price, all while keeping the 4r36 movement and not upgrading the hardlex to sapphire. I'd rather recommend a microbrand like pic related over Seiko's botched design.

It takes the balls out industrial madness of the original Monster and kicks everything up a notch, the sharp indices embracing the Monster nickname and giving the watch a vicious edge.
Then they come out with the gen 4 Monster and it's just... why bother? They removed everything that made the original interesting.

Hard to say. Right is better to read, but now the window is too small. I really don't understand why they did not just make the window the same size as the blue markers on the dial. That would be perfect.
Oh well, I guess I'm going to lust after another nomos, then.

With mechanical watches you have to wear them or wind them once every few days, and if you don't they run out and you have to set the time again when you do want to wear them. Since I rarely go out anymore, the only things still on time when I do leave the house are quartz. Somehow I just don't feel like wearing them around the house.

It's never a good idea to finance a luxury item. Maybe a car, definitely a house, but you will regret pay at least 20% interest on an item you already can't afford.

Well, if that means avoiding the hassle of having to take some money out of your investments and your money is having larger returns than the interest on the financing, it could make sense.
But if you seriously have to think about financing something that "cheap" as a nomos, you probably should not do it, if you don't even have those few k sitting around in cash.
