I'm similar. That's what works for me:
formal/ festive:
regular fit
casual:
regular fit pants and shirts
tees, sweaters/ hoodies oversize
(no oversize meme with to long arms, just a relaxed - loose cut)
jackets regular - oversize
shoes don't have to be chunky, but need to have a solid sole/ broader silhouette to fit the rest
