Can anyone recommend me a boot that satisfies the following requirements?

1.Good sole traction
2.Water resistant (doesn't have to be waterproof)
3.No thermal insulation
4.Less than 300 dollars
5.Looks good
6.Durable

I wanted to buy Timbs but apparently their quality is shit these days, plus too many people wear them.

The only Timberland boots worth buying are from their PRO line.

Isn't that for people who actually wear them for work rather than style?

I’ve got some cat boots that have held up well. They look like timbales but are a darker brown. Only real con is that they really need you to buy better insoles

I'm worried that if I wear those people will think that I bought them because I couldn't afford Timbs.

Those boots remind me too much of what my high school computer teacher wore.

PRO line is for professions. When I was a fresh out of high school day laborer scraping 12/hr so I could afford my first car and crush barely legal pussy I went through 2 pairs of Pit Boss ST over the span of 3 years. In the rain, snow, and blistering sun the leather held up and the stitching never failed me once. The soles stopped plenty of nails and the toe is the real deal. I rested many stacks of sheet metal and drywall on them waiting for the lift. True steel. Plus a clear pair always looks /fa/ when broken in and oiled.

Brown or Classic Wheat. Chestnut brown is more appealing IMO. Black loots retarded kek

OP here, I think what I'm looking for is a workboot inspired casual leather boot with a lug type sole. Does anyone know of anything like that?

nufags need to LURK MORE. this is like the most common question.
tl;dr find milsurp combat boots, or get heritage boots from companies like chippewa, redwing, wolverine, etc. most will be under $400. just go look through their catalogs for what you're looking for.

not OP, what about White's or Nick's? I noticed that they're more expensive than the brand you listed but are they better?

>> No.15201044

just trace their leather on the model you want. there are leathers that are high value that end up on just one model from each brand that's probably still priced in. and don't buy anything made in asia or mexico or italy. buy USA made if you can, boots are like the only thing we manufacture.
