It started that way, yes, but it is a piece of accidental design genious in my opinion. The phrase "Make America Great Again" strikes at the very core of so many reactionary feelings in America and infuriates liberals because of the implications that their "progress" has been nothing but decay. I don't now if Trump chose this on purpose but it is beautifully effective.

Depends on what the revolution is, there is no separation between form and content anymore, one must be the other.
I'll speak to anarco-collectivism which is what i most believe in, it should be comfortable easy to make and wear materials, plain white cotton shirt, grey or tan cotton pants with self-tying chords, leather shoes. Simple, easy to make and replace, equal access to everyone.

Something that covers itself in the aesthetics and language of classicism and tradition, yet is relevant, modern and cutting edge in substance. I don't think you really need any kind of explicit 'uniform' but a look that is easy for nearly anyone from a zoomer gamer to an ageing boomer to pull off without looking like a LARPer or cringe. Something accessible, universal, relevant to as many as possible but also well regulated by a set of fixed style principles. An item of clothing or outfit a large part of society wear but that can be styled in a classical and almost uniformed manner to represent a movement.

Although not /fa/ or fitting either the above or OP's brief; one of the best things in this line of thinking we've seen in recent times is the gilet jaunes' simple hi-viz. It's not something you can nail down to a very explicit movement or ideology like Trump hats or any kind of nazi/communist style LARP yet is iconic but also universal and relevant to so many as part of their everyday life.

That's the kind of direction it needs to push in but find an item or clothing or outfit that is iconic and classical, yet relatable and identifiable to many.
