I don't think he became unfunny as much as people just kinda outgrew his humor. His first couple dozen videos were pretty fun - kinda casual, it was cute to see him interact with his wife, Ethan came off as reasonably charming and self-deprecating, etc. After a while, it all began to feel kinda same-y. Other youtubers do waaaaay better call-out videos now, too: for example, people like NerdCity put in way more effort, are way more thoughtful, and are way funnier at the same time. On top of that, it's kinda hard to want to get into the H3H3 podcast when it gets pretty fuckin' preachy.

I remember liking him way back when he first started.
I still thought some of his funniest content wasn't on his main channel; I vaguely remember one when he storms into her room in white underwear screaming about she spent 50 shekels on lunch or some shit and I was in tears.
