We arrived to Canada in 1989 from USSR and they were selling Soviet Made boots just like that in local cheap shoe stores.

there's a million and one sidezips out there for that price range, so you'll likely find what you want somewhere, though my list is very incomplete.
I know that Lucchese makes a model very similar to OP pic (795USD
Viberg stocks something a little slimmer and pointier (730USD)
Personally I'm a big fan of Maison Margiela's Campus boot (pic related, may have to buy secondhand (not necessarily worn) and search a little)
Naturally when talking about sidezips I have to mention SAINT LAURENT PARIS wokstar Wyatt boots, and their competitors Story et Fall and From the First.
