I don't understand how someone could brand themselves with something so negative. ie. "Always Tired". Especially on the face.

It would be like if you wrote "Kill Yourself" on your bathroom mirror and had to see it every day.

not a bad idea anon I could really use the motivation

Well now that I think about it, a musical artist is usually typecast. Their fans want to see a specific musician for a specific thing, such as Juice WRLD for breakup/ sad drug songs, so him seeing that on his face everyday might tend to make him stay in that kind of mindset, therefore creating more music his fans want
>just a thought

This. Dude has more money than all of /fa/ and you're on about what?

Also, it's 2020. In many areas and many lines of work there's no problem with heavy body modification; in some it might even help you. Who's more likely to get hired working at a hip restaurant, someone who looks like Post Malone or someone who looks like an FBI agent?

Body modification is only okay if you're applying for starbucks or some shit, any professional or white collar work you would be fucked 100% of the time. Only time it's okay is if you have just a few tattoos on your arms and are a veteran with real qualifications.

>any professional or white collar work

Where do you live?

I live in New York and this just isn't true. These days tattoos are bog standard, not hand, neck, or face tats, but wrist tats that you can easily see at work yes. A modest facial piercing, a nose stud or something, is almost normal for women under 30.

I don't know any lawyers with face tats but I do know a few with hand tats. You're not going to get that at a white shoe, they all are partners in their own small firms, but they're lawyers. One has multiple facial piercings and is the main attorney in a case you've definitely seen in the news.

Creative work, forget about it. Anything you can pull off flies. Again, too much and you're probably not on staff in a corporate office in midtown, but who wants to shape their life around getting that?

And in my earlier example of a restaurant, too much won't fly in fine dining, the aforementioned nose stud will be totally fine a lot of places today, but general North Brooklyn fancy food casual bullshit places? Literally whatever.

I meant if you have body modification to the extent of the young gentleman in OP's pic you would be fucked 100% of the time. I live in california but i work in IT so my experience might be different..but i think its generally safe to say white collar hiring managers prefer someone without any stupid body mods/tattoos.

>> No.14981164

>>14981141
For a corporate position yes. But that's not everything out there, and there's considerably more latitude in creative fields where you're not in house to some other thing.

Also note I originally said
>in many areas and many lines of work there's no problem

And went on to talk about food service, you're the one who brought in this white collar thing.

Peeps music was god awful with the exception of Gym Class. You’re not wrong though. He looks good tatted up. He just was better looking in general and not a fat fuck like Malone.
