Depends on whether you actually know and like the band or if you're just doing it bc some celeb is doing it. If you're doing it for the latter and not the former then you are not /fa/

>> No.14961807

>>14961791
It's only 17 years old.

Band shirts are a tough business. Since bands get better or worse with time, you have to score a shirt from the right era. For Metallica, anything post And Justice for All is not worth your time.

>> No.14961854

>>14961807
Well I agree but I got it for the aesthetic and it’s an actual concert shirt not a reprint (good luck finding a real ride the lightning shirt that’s not a reprint)

Sure, the ideal is the original, but a reprint is okay in the absence of one. It's far worse to rep a terrible album or era of an otherwise good band. And yeah, aesthetic is important, but it'll never trump the music.

since when are new order tees played out? the only thing i can think of is people accidentally buying pcl tees from h&m just for the "it's a cool design" appeal.

Only if you were old enough when the album came out. If you're 19 wearing a metal shift from the 80s then no. Also do you listen to the band.
At a concert never wear a band shirt of the band you are there to see.

>> No.14963989

>>14961950
Since they were featured in that Scott Pilgrim movie. Honestly though, New Order is one of the main "cool band shirt" bands. Sorry you live in Kansas and don't know this, I guess.
