So an acquaintance just described me as "dressing sad".

What does this mean? I feel like there is some truth to it and I need to change my wardrobe.

Maybe I look too much like a doomer. What style should I move to so as not to give a depressing vibe? Infographs welcome. I am male and don't really want to spend much.

Can you give some examples of what you currently tend to dress like? Grids would be fantastic if you wanna bother with it but otherwise just lists, descriptions and maybe photo of an item you wear a lot would help

If you want to look less sad without wearing something that isn't "you", I would suggest moving towards earth tones and soft colours like brown, grey, granite, soft blues/navy, subtle greens and oranges. Also consider more natural fibres and varied textures like corduroy, canvas, suede, and heavy cottons.

That sounds really appealing actually. Wearing black does get me down a bit. Do you infographs and inspo for this?

I unfortunately don't have any on hand but honestly I would look at r/streetwear and search for "autumn" or ”earth" "soft" etc. and just sift through the lower quality stuff. Instagram is alright as well. Steady Hands and Uniqlo will be good bets to source stuff from. If I wear you though I would go to your CBD and have a look at clothing stores to really get a feel for something you like
