Depends. If you are a loner because everyone hates you and and you can't get on with others or fear them then no, not really.

I am a schizoid, so I am a loner but it's a case of not fearing others, anxiety or whatever, I can be very much the "alpha" in a social setting but I just prefer to be alone and most times I think people are a bit pathetic and I prefer to do my own thing.

You are an example of this if I am honest, on a message board basically either forcing yourself to be a loner because it's "cool" or you are a loner who feels bad about it and you are looking for justification from strangers on the internet.

See how I wouldn't and couldn't be bothered to form any sort of a relationship with people such as yourself?

Yeah like schizoid. It's a conscious choice. Most of the lonely losers you see on twitter posing about crap all day are not schizoids and they are loners because they are just total losers. and they wish they had friends.
