Being new to fitness myself and being quite skinny, what I wanted as a goal was to have greater control over my body. I've lost 132lbs/60kgs some years ago running up and down stairs and was still kinda skinnyfat.
Decided to gain some muscle and started doing pushups/pullups/chinups/crunches and running every other day while on a bit of a caloric surplus for a clean bulk

You are not going to bulk on a caloric surplus, clean bulk means still eating slightly over maintenance but good foods and not masses of processed carbs etc.

I honestly don't know, i was fat my whole life and went from something like 120kg/264lbs to 63kg/139 lbs in half of an year with an extremely retard diet and exercise routine, to this day i'm clueless how i lost all that weight and maintaned for so long, i have a little bit of loose skin, its only visible from certain positions, like when i'm doing pushups, you can see my bellybutton is fucked, i have a ton of strechmarks though.
