You can also own a normal phone and not use it for social media.
I understand the desire for people to go back to simpler times, but it's them who make it so complicated in the first place.

I have a Sony I bought for €150 at the supermarket and it takes good pictures, supports Whatsapp and has 2 days of battery. It's good enough for me, and I don't see how buying some even more minimalistic phone would improve my situation.
