Fashion focused sites are usually shit. What you should do is look at things piecemeal. E.g., a forum about shoes with shoe autists will often have a much better idea what shoes look good, where to find them, what makes a good shoe, etc. Likewise, if you happen to be blessed or cursed with certain limitations you can work around those. E.g., if you're tall, look for clothing/M2M/etc that tailors for tall, if you're poor look for things that are cheap, if you're in a hot climate, if you're in a shitty area, etc.
