tried having a cool haircut when i was in the military, but then i did get to shower for weeks and i had to dig foxholes. the greasy hair catching dirt and having an constant itchy scalp really upsets me man. i just go bald. milimeter that shit. That feels good.

I tried desperately to find a haircut for afro hair within military standards that looked good on me/ I liked. It was totally impossible, I hated it so much, you had practically no room to work with. The regulations for hair were made with straight hair in mind anyways. I ended up just going bald a few times and hating it.

Yeah, I was about 15% bf at the time, so my jawline wasn't very pronounced and I looked like a potato. Also it was cold, and I personally dislike hats a lot. Gave up on the military and now I have dreadlocks and am sitting at 12% bf instead. It looks and feels much better for me. Also if I wear a hood or hat my hair works as extra insulation.

That was a great feeling, I definitely miss it being that easy to dry off my hair. I also miss being able to easily roll around on the floor and in the dirt without giving a shit. But I don't miss how I looked, or how cold I was. Thanks for the well wishes though, I really hope I'm able to find a good career that uses my skills to their fullest extent. I also hope that my previous training doesn't turn out to be a complete waste, as so far all it's done is make me socially awkward. People would often compare me to a robot the way I would follow commands. Like if I was told to wait, I'd just stay exactly where I was doing nothing at all until I was done waiting. I've been breaking out of it, but it's such a hard adjustment. Sometimes I miss how simple it was just following commands.
