An artistic movement with a program, a manifesto, and a coherent set of works designed to implement that program and change the current artistic, cultural and social landscape.

Avantgardism is very outdated by the way, it pretty much stopped in the 60s and its language has since then been entirely appropriated by the advertisement industry.
