Any tips on a backpack? Preferably black/grey. With support for a 15,6" laptop and lots of space. A big one. Bonus if it looks good.

Carhartt maybe? I've got one and it's pretty functional, doesn't look bad.

Crumpler bags are incredibly sturdy. I've had the same one for over 10 years.

In all seriousness, the best backpack I have ever owned I purchased from Bad Dragon. It's durable as hell, comfortable to wear, and has tons of handy compartments. The BD logo is on the back but it's pretty subtle, I never had anyone recognize it.
Sadly last I checked they no longer carry the item (don't want to check again now, I'm at work).

I really like porter bags. You can buy them from the japanese site and have it shipped internationally and the price is reasonable for the quality. Otherwise, north face purple label makes nice simple designs. For lower price, patagonia makes decent bags that have a lifetime warranty. For even cheaper, jansport makes cordura bags and you can remove the logo if you don't like it.

Cant go wrong with Jansport. Cheap, spacious, and durable. Got one when I started school back up and it's lasted me 4 years of heavy use.

Only thing is it looks pretty basic if that matters to you.

backpacks are fine as long as you’re under the age of 30 and it’s an attractive/minimalist backpack, especially if it’s a piece of good craftsmanship or leather. Just buy a black backpack with one pocket on it and call it a day.

Got myself one of these a couple of days ago for college since I have to carry a laptop every day. So far pretty happy with it and they go pretty well with any outfit. Downside is that they have become like the Fjalraven Cancer meme here and every single fuckboi and stacey seem to own one now.

This bag is so fucking good. I can't oversell this. The more stress you normally put on bags the more I'd recommend it; the thing is a fucking tank and looks nice too.

Sorry to hijack, but what is the best leather briefcase/bag to get for less than $300? Willing to go up to $500 if absolutely necessary.
