There's nothing wrong with pale, it can be very beautiful too, but the border woth sickly is thin. I do agree with you; a healthy pale person is literally the healthiest look as pale skin shows everything, tiredness, sickness etc. My wife has this very pale friend and she has these eternal black circles under her eyes making her look unhealthy/tired.

People have different undertones depending on their health and genetics, so even if you're tan you can have either a warm, neutral, or cool undertone. I prefer skin that has a warm undertone, such as gold (the typical descriptor used for these shades in makeup)
