Accurate. They're 100 dollar boots being marketed as 400 dollar boots that sell for 200. Fuck that shitty company.

Alden is great, Oakstreet is a bad as Thursday, fuck OSB, and Viberg is overpriced but at least they're actually good.
Get some White's. They're expensive but you're paying for quality materials and craftsmanship, unlike brands like Viberg where you pay for the name or other expensive brands that don't have the quality to back up the price.

Nick's and White's are very comparable. For many it's just personal preference which one they like more. I like White's more for no reason than I got a pair and they were flawless so I bought from them again. I'd be very open to getting a pair of Nick's in the future.
Wesco is probably king of American bootmakers. They allow virtually unlimited customizations and their reputation speaks for itself.
Also check out Dayton as another PNW band. They make a good product that isn't crazy expensive. Their service boot will probably be my next boot

Fit is perfect. Part of what makes them so good is they're like gloves for my feet. Also they're CXL so they're really soft and break in was super easy so they've pretty much been comfy since the start. I won the CXL lottery with them as the creasing is as good as you could ever hope for with CXL

Clicking is the process of choosing what parts of the hide to use. It's called "clicking" because before machines people would cut the shapes by hand and the special knife used made a *click* sound when it would cut. So the people who do it are called clickers. A good clicker can feel and see what parts of the hide are suitable for being made into boots. You can especially feel which parts will get loose grain and crease really poorly as the hide feels weaker and almost feels like it's got air pockets in it. Additionally it's the clicker's job to see blemishes and problem areas on a hide and cut around and not use that part.
White's is phenomenal at clicking. Brands like Wolverine, Allen Edmonds and Alden (really only when it comes to CXL) are notoriously bad at it. Wolverine is the worst I have ever seen.
Part of it is a cost thing. Using all of the hide saves the company money at the expense of a boot with good quality leather. Only using the good parts of a hide and discarding the rest is more expensive but the boots are much better. As a result the boots would cost more. I'd much rather pay 500 for a pair of CXL White's that I know are going to be phenomenally clicked and not get loose grain than 300 for some Wolverines that will looks like absolute garbage after a few months.

I have a really weird issue. Maybe someone here can help me with it. I'm around 182 CM/ 6 feet but I have very small feet. A size 40 EU.

Most shoes which aren't "sleek" are quite hard to wear for me, as they look too small compared to my body.

When buying boots, I'm practically forced to wear 42 EU/ size 8 UK since otherwise the boots look too small for me. I'm used to wearing loose shoes so that's no issue, but I'm worried when buying my first pair of boots that they will crease easily since they will be too big.

Any recommendations for boost which won't crease/I won't have issues with due to small feet?
