"bad genes" is very casual and can easily refer to objectively health impairing genetics OR it could refer to something like "You're ugly, bad genes lol" or "lol manlet/chinlet/hairlet, bad genes". In a casual conversation bad genes does not automatically mean genes that harm you health wise. It could simply refer to genes that make you lack certain qualities people consider attractive.

I agree and disagree. Hair is not bioactive, this is true, but there are still things the body or the person must do to keep it healthy, as in, not damaged, breaking, smooth, soft. It still needs oil, it still needs moisture, it still needs vitamins and acids from oil, it still needs a proper ph balance.
