How to pull this off without looking like a school shooter? What's the minimum height to wear a trenchcoat?

Try not looking like a 14 year old and make the rest of the outfit presentable

Only wear trenchcoats if youre planning to expose yourself to children

The fact that you’re asking means you can’t wear it faggot
They aren’t hard to wear if you don’t already look like a school shooter
Just make sure it fits you properly, isn’t cheap shit, and doesn’t extend past the knee

Be tall. I'm 5'10 and I look like a child with any kind of long coat.

smaller men should have the coat end somewhere above the knee; still covering the ass.

I'd be edgy and paint it/put patches. then pair it with a bright color. basically more bright to contrast the darkness of the coat.

I wear pic related to work (security)

when wearing a mac, you should ALWAYS have it fastened and proper except when seated.

this means the belt should be worn and fastened, with the buckle brought over to the left, aligned with the buttons.

When seated, if you don't take your mac off, you should but the belt within the holes in the pockets.

I usually go tieless but it looks better with a tie.

also buy a decent one, not cheap trash.

My suggestion would be Aquascutum, i also have a nicev blue one for outside of work. goes well with thistle coloured clothes and cravats.

looks similar to this except black buttons.

same rules as the black one.

Oh and as a tip, buy a size larger than your suit jacket, both for comfort and to utilize the pockets to great effect. ask a tailor to add a breast pocket unless you already have one.
