Rule of thumb is higher shaft=higher school shooter potential. No one will bat an eye at some 6 inchers. 8 inch will draw attention. 10 inch will cause people to jump when you dig around in your bag

Avoid these and danner tachyon. They look okay on the internet, but are super bolbus irl. Stick to the nike sfbs. Avoid the black ones. Coyote brown or sage both look great and you can darken the sage with wear.

i own austrians and want to get corcorans, not because i dislike the austrians just to mix it up, i like the idea of full laces for the look and the cap toe but also on the contrary i dig the flatter toe and speedhooks on the austrians. really preference and this board seems to like both too.
