I actually have a question, I currently got into motorcycles (though my cruiser is not effay, that would be cafe racers) and I bought a moto jacket, most motorcycle jackets has terrible design and fit like the one I bought at a motorcycle gear shop in Murica. BUT its thick cowhide and it looks like it will age well.

With that said, is it worth buying a pre/artificially distressed motorcycle jacket? I found one here in Germany and it fits me like a glove even with the armor, it is pretty distressed by design though like in the pic. Wouldnt that mean I robbed it of a couple of years of natural aging and would be unservicable sooner?
