Because they had good taste and valued good aesthetics, they were idealists, uniforms especially SS were designed to look intimidating and cool on purpose.

Something that I really liked about them was that they kept the basic look from the first world war but just updated the cut of the uniform and helmet as well as made minor changes to things like the boots. Overall a very recognizable and traditional look but still "modern".

I came to this board looking for this thread. I need new glasses but there are way too many options I don't really know where to start. I don't want to stand out at all, I just don't want to look like a dweeb. Any ideas?
