Worth what? The most you will waste is $5 on a shirt. (And don’t tell me your time because if you cared about that you wouldn’t be on here)

If you're a 6'2+ human yeah it definitely is

>> No.14504512

on monday i found new ralph lauren trousers that fit me pretty good and look amazing in thrift store for like 3$ (it was 6$ for kg) so i would say yeah it is worth it but depends where you live (i live in czech republic)

>> No.14504523

thrift shops in italy have insanely high prices, it's not worth it here (for example a dress is 20 euro)

>> No.14504542

I’ve thrifted almost all my clothes for over a decade. To me it’s indispensable.

>> No.14504545

Same in Spain, but it is because our countries doesn't have that thrift culture and there are few shops and no free competition.

Same. Value village in the GTA kicks some serious ass. The only thing I buy brand new are belts and shoes, socks underwear shit like that. He'll sometimes I see nice shoes there but that seems nasty to me lol.

i live in alberta and our value villiage sucks some serious donkey dick. i still cruise the isles from time to time because i do end up finding cool shit if I look really good.

I also collect vintage tech brand swag and employee shirts like ibm, apple, microsoft etc. my fav is the early eye bee M logo.

protips for the boys: anything microsoft xp with the original logo is cash money territory, depending on the content of the item you can fetch into the hundreds

i live in brooklyn and most of my T shirts / shirts / cutoff's are from thrifting. Like 5-10 dollars for shirts that are "in" and actually look worn and not some H&M copy/paste from a specific decade

>> No.14504658

>>14504386
No if you're like me near shitty suburbs or yee haw land. At best I can get old college stuff.
>>14504390
Actually this (or ebay). You pay like $15 for a shirt but you don't have to waste hours and gas to pay $5 for the same shirt. And you can pay $20+ for nicer vintage tees.

my city is pretty good for thrifting, ive found tons of stuff to resell or wear for the personal. i’ve found acne studios, balenciaga, prada jacket, d&g, ysl, gucci, dior monogram scarf, fendi, alexander mcqueen, lv, and a yohji yamamoto real madrid jersey. hell the other day i found a pair of dior jeans and sold them on grailed for 320$. go as often as you can to different ones and you’ll find some really good stuff.

where do you actually burn them? doesn't it smell bad?

>> No.14505507

I’d say at least 90% of my wardrobe is thrifted. I get complements often and have saved literally thousands of dollars vs. I bought my clothes brand new. Also I enjoy hunting for good deals or something you can’t find anywhere else. Just wished I’d discovered it before a couple years ago

>> No.14505519

Backyard. They had a large property, you could do it far enough away from the house that it wouldn’t smell that bad. Still retarded tho
