but if you're looking for compliments, there is no need to pay 400$ for a bottle. there's plenty of good fragrances at a way lower price point.

all of that is irrelevant if you're going about this the way i think you are though.

strangers will hardly ever compliment you unless you are in relatively close proximity for a while, and even then it'll be rare. Would you compliment some stranger out of the blue?

I get 99% of my compliments when greeting girls or giving my friends the bro handshake/half hug.

That's not to say that i get a lot of compliments though, only from the more expressive people.

fragrances are the same as fashion, use a fragrance because you want to smell good, not because you want others to think you smell good.
