Puffy face can be caused by allergies, genetics, dehydration (make sure to drink plenty of water) or a diet high in sodium (if this applies to you, ditch the processed junk foods and watch your salt intake).

If it's genetics don't sweat it. Good fat distributed throughout the face will make you look younger than you are. First signs of aging is loss of elasticity, sunken cheeks, hollow undereye area etc. Being 'chubby' in the face now buys you time well into your late 30's early 40's imo. I'm turning 30 this year and @ 6'2", 148lbs still got more than avg. fat retention in my face that makes me look like I'm in my early 20's at most.

That being said, you're decently lean for your height. Just watch out for your bf%, exercise is important so you don't look skinnyfat.

I'm only 23 lbs away from my goal weight. Been cutting out carbs and sugar since second or third week of November 2018 as well as following a loose 8/16 IF schedule.

I was 210 lbs then (left pic) and I'm 153 lbs now (right pic). Obviously been exercising a little here and there, but the 57 lbs I've lost so far is pretty much all from dieting. I'm hoping cutting back from my current 1,500 cal daily to only 1,200 cal will help push me to my goal weight a little faster.

Thanks, I really love that shirt. Unfortunately, I don't know how to work out my legs in a way that will make them slimmer without being noodles? I run, bike, and play roller derby which all require some strength in my legs so I can't only care about how slim they are if it means being weaker.

This is bullshit, it's true that your basal metabolism slows down a bit, but you will absolutely lose weight. Your body can't magically create energy. You'll just be tired as fuck all the time, which is your body telling you to conserve as much energy as possible.

I haven't heard about that, but it's possible that some mechanisms of their natural metabolism are so fucked up at that point that they won't even process all those nutrients and they'll excrete them anyway.

https://fitfolk.com/average-calories-burned-per-day-men-women/ and I was shocked this isn’t more widespread knowledge.
I tried out a TDEE calculator if a female 167cm difference between 60kg and 54kg is 1647 vs 1575 (-72)
While in that study, the TDEE drop in 3 months after 6kg is a whopping 454, making weight loss slow to a excruciating crawl.
The same article goes on to describe the processes that prevent weight gain despite very high intakes for some individuals. Wish I were the latter

I try to eat healthy but I have a sweet tooth
I typically run every second day - I did 5km this evening which is rare I usually struggle to do 3-4km
And try to go for long walks (12km+) on other days. Actually I didn't walk yesterday so maybe that's why I ran better.
I was lifting with some dumbbells for a while - bentover row, shoulder press, elbow curl, benchpress, arm raises - but all I found was my biceps getting bigger, muscles are okay but my main interest is weight loss.

I traded mine for a caffeine addiction, forcing myself to eat 85%+ dark chocolate when I crave sweets, and neurotically counting calories and macros. 300 mg of Wellbutrin and 100 mg of Lamotrigine a day definitely help though.

Find your triggers. Avoid them or become conscious and build the discipline to not have them lead to binge eating. You can also do "conscious" eating. If you are going to eat, be present and eat every bite consciously. Taste the food, chew slowly, be aware of it. Don't just throw on Netflix and swallow that shit down. Lot's of people have success quitting smoking by being very aware of the process and realizing "this tastes like shit wtf am I doing."

they mean with triggers situations, thoughts or anything that causes you want to binge, and then do so. triggers may be anxiety, boredom, or something as specific as listening to a song lyric, etcétera. if that wasn't clear enough, for example, what usually triggers my binging thoughts is my anxiety. whenever i'm alone with nothing to do, eventually i get an urge to stuff my mouth with food. then, i walk to a store nearby, buy something to eat, walk back to my room, and eat it. most of the time i manage to drive these urges with coffee or a cigarette though. now that i'm on uni vacation, however, i've been fighting these urges a lot more. thank u for reading my blog post

Just do loads of heavy overhead press and incline bench to build the "armour" muscles. Delts, upper chest, triceps.

And do 300+ reps of tricep accessories on top of that, throughout the week.

For biceps I literally just do cable curls a few times a week. My back work hits biceps fairly well.

Thinking of throwing in some isometric holds on pull-ups, for bicep growth.
