I'm 6'2 and I've got the opposite problem. I feel like a small goblin like creature almost all the time. its not until I experience tallness second hand that I realize what its like for people who are shorter than me. I had my growth spurt early on though so I understand how jarring it can be to realize you're not the tallest man in the world. you'll get used to it.

I'm 5'9'' but considering that is the national average I never really notice another mans height unless he's exceptionally tall or small.
