However ill bite the bullet and talk since I'm bored... so what I'm getting from this show is a dark, atmospheric feel. I enjoy the play with textures and patterns, since i feel that's what black shines in as a color. However I couldn't find anything too original feeling from this collection, most of the stuff feels like it has already been executed by other japanese designers way better. It feels like a not so subtle ripoff of Yohji's and Isseys(mainline not pleb pleats) ideas. However i'd like to hear your view on the collection since you seemed to enjoy it.

and the blue stuff are fucking horrid so yeah there is that. and the silhouettes had nothing too great about them all i can say is that they seemed to cater to western people more than the usual japanese silhouettes. However i left feeling like i would have wanted more playfulness with them since it can make or break an "allblack" collection. so yeah shit was pretty safe

Fair take. I really liked the collection and the show, but I can see how you think it's lacking in experimentation. I personally love the detailing on all the clothes, even though it's hard to see these through pictures of videos. I'm really hoping to somehow get the pair of pants in this pic. Not OP btw

You're never going to get people who talk about fashion shows on here because most of /fa/ is poor and larping as someone who gives a shit about fashion so they don't have to face the reality they only care about clothing as far as people in their classes will recognize it.

That being said, I like the direction Jun's moving with this to a point. Now that men's shows are on the runway since last year, it's given the brand a much needed refresh after SS16 - FW17 all ended up being relatively mediocre graphic showcases.

I will say though, I think some of the silhouettes in this collection might be too bold. While mixed media is kind of a staple of undercover, the Nosferatu shapes have too high of a contrast at least in the lighting of the show and kind of look stiff and tacky. The one that reflects what I'd like MOST is the pants in pic related where the pattern blends in better

If you look through the show you'll notice that the shirts with the photo prints have a matching print on the front and back, which I would say is excessive and it'd be better to commit to one side or the other.
