So I'm moving to a large city and will start walking every where for the first time in my life. (From very small rural cities that are spread out).

I've been stocking up on kando pants and more breathable clothing since I live in a high temperature area. I need recommendations on techwear business casual shirting.

Can anyone recommend me a good techwear rain jacket? Something that is quality but not stupid expensive.

Also need recs for a new backpack as my Herschel is starting to fall apart after 7 years.

Hope you got it on sale. Riot Division and pretty much all the Eastern European brands have huge end-of-year discounts.

>>14412556
Ministry of Supply, Outerboro, and Outlier for shirting. MoS is my preference since they focus almost exclusively on business casual/semi-formal stuff and the quality is great.

>good techwear rain jacket

You should be more specific about what style and materials you're thinking about. This is like asking someone on male faggot advice "what kind of selvedge jeans should I get?"

>Also need recs for a new backpack as my Herschel is starting to fall apart after 7 years.

How many liters? What sort of style? If you want something from a techwear brand, Orbit Gear is pretty great for the price.

I've given riot division a few browses and everything just looks slightly off. The bomber looks ok there but could you report back on quality, I'm suspicious that it's just another acronym clone brand that hasn't quite managed it.

>> No.14413728

I have their adjustable width shorts. The quality is pretty good. My only real complaint is that the zippers are waterproofed so they aren't as smooth as general YKK zippers. There really isn't much of a need for shorts to have DWR and waterproof zips, especially if they're quick-drying.

The bomber looks like it's made out of the same material, so it's probably solid.

Krakatau is still better than Riot Division for jackets.
