Happy to help. Another Youtube channel I'd suggest is Gentleman's Gazette (the dude knows his stuff even if he himself doesn't present the best fits). Also, proper shoe care is done with the most luxurious product. Check out bootblack/columbus. I have tried everything, Saphir d'Or, Burgol, Kiwi, etc. And Bootblack Artist's Palette No.1 is just out of this world for shoe care.

Crockett & Jones are GOAT but pricey. Loake is perfectly fine as well if youbare on a budget. Export Grade and Loake 1880 are the lines worth buying I think.

Depends on what you want though Loake are a bit bigger and the good year welted sole usually sticks out a bit more than what Id like if I really want to look the best.
My C&Js good year welted sole barely sticks outside of the upper though.

Then theres of course the more "fun" territory of Gaziano Girling and other luxury shoe makers. They cost a premium but have cool designs if you want something out of the ordinary.

Look up sartorial talk on youtube. They have really good shoe videos.

There's actually no better feeling. It's like automatically making a statement that my shoes> your shoes, get there fuck out of here, plebshit. Most guys are sneaker-wearing losers who i don't even take into account. Then, once in a while, you get that young guy who tries to be menswear effay and actually cares about his appearance. He has well-fitting trousers, an ironed shirt and entry-level dress shoes (with rubber soles though, a big YIKES there). He is very confident in himself and thinks on top of the pack looking down on all the plebs. Then i come in and crush him. There's some satisfaction in seeing his cocky smile getting hit with a reality check, but i have no hate for them. >Trousers: a wide variety of quality 100% WOOL slacks, pinstripes, window panes, all slightly above no-break. I recommend Brooks Brothers, free alterations, affordable in sale. Tip: avoid light colors
>Shirts: BB, Thomas Pink, hell even uniqlo, as long as you tailor them and always iron. I prefer light blues/whites

Carlos Santos is good. If youre looking for shoes at the Loake 1880 price point go for them instead. I am biased because i just bought a pair myself but I am really pleased with them.

Bought them from a shop that only sells shoes that they have deemed to be good at their resoective price-points. They stock Carlos Santos, Carmina, Crockett&Jones, Saint Crispin and some others that i cant remember but make of that what you will.

I own two pairs of Allen Edmonds, the Strands and Fifth Avenues. Never pay full price for AE as they have serious quality control issues on most stuff but on sale and if you can look over them in person they're great deals. AE are pretty entry-level but are fine for most applications.
I'm going into law and will need some black cap toe oxfords and also I just love nice dress shoes. Crockett and Jones will be my first really nice shoe purchase
