Has a fictional character ever got you to buy a piece of clothing simply because it's associated with him? For me its this guy and his notorious white AF1s

I bought a navy baseball cap with a higher crown because of Thomas Magnum. If I was anywhere near water I'd be doing aloha shirts, too

I don't think so. I got as far as to draw inspiration from characters but I don't think I've ever bought a specific item.

Jax looks cool but I dig the general aesthetic. I think the loose biker clothing with white sneakers looks cool but the specific sneakers he wore looked like shit.
