How come this kind of beard-pattern that doesn't fill in on the chin is so unattractive? Mine grows this way naturally without hair on the front of the chin and it's always seen as unappealing for some reason. Can anyone explain this?

it just doesn't look as good if it's not full. try trimming it at a shorter length and/or growing a longer moustache and soul patch perhaps to compensate.
