I think gentle curls or wavy hair is the best. Straight hair works too if you can pull off an Ivy League, short/medium length Chris Hemsworth or oldschool Johnny Depp. Donald Glover style twists are top tier too.

I'm hispanic (look white though) and have that same kind of hair and it's an absolute bitch to do deal with. It only looks decent maybe 1 day out of the week and it's purely up to chance. The rest of the time it'll just look like a poofy mess and if you don't have the same masculine, defined face and jaw that Oscar has it'll just make you look dopey and lame.
