I have a couple dress shirts that the collar size is too small for me. Is there a way I can hid it under a tie? is there some kind of device that connects the gap between the button and the buttonhole?

The easiest thing to do would be to return the shirt and get one that fits. You could also try to lose weight to make the collar fit but you may already be at minimal bodyfat. Need more info really. You could also just not do the top button and put the tie on
