What's the most effay way to deal with hairloss for a young man? (20)
NW 3 with slight crown thinning. Should I buzz with noguard? Can't grow a proper beard yet. What style should I go for and how should the clothes fit?

If you have serious diffuse thinning, you should look into hair fibers. They can be expensive if you get them directly from the manufacturer, but they're really good at thickening up thin areas. I have thin temples and they do a great job at strengthening my hairline.
It sounds like you have a good plan though. I've had some good results from dermarolling and peppermint oil personally. Just keep in mind that a hair transplant isn't always a perfect solution. You'll often have to combine that with finasteride to ensure that the rest of your natural hair is kept. Either that, or keep using hair fibers to keep up the appearance of density later on.

The only solution is to buzz unless you want to commit 100% to aesthetics, disregarding all attractiveness. In that case you can grow the hair out where it is still dense, and where it is thinning you shave it down, Japanese samurai style. This can look baller af but most people are not going to register you as a potential sexual partner ever again.

Buzz doesn't make thinning obvious, you just don't buzz it down enough in that case. If you stick to 5 mm any thinning disappears, only when you grow it out to 1–2 cm does an uneven hair line become obvious again.

You want to model your appearance obviously around the former and not the latter, which means that you have to hit the gym and have to have low body fat, pic related.

I have quite long hair, so I pretty much just pat the bottle along my hairline and it all sticks to my scalp in a big clump. Then I brush my hair back a few times and it spreads along my hair while also keeping a lot on the scalp too. At first, I would just shake it over my hair, but I found that it was less effective and made more of a mess. If you have shorter hair, you might be better off just shaking it all over, but I don't have any personal experience there.
Just a tip: you probably want a shade darker than you'd think. I have blond hair and went for medium blond fibers at first and it just looked weird. Now using a light brown and it looks a lot better - especially when it gets brushed back into my hair, almost looking like highlights with the blond and brown.
They stick very well though. It won't come out until I rinse my hair in the shower or scrub it my scalp. Stays on overnight and whatever. Never had a problem at the gym. But I don't sweat heavily, so your mileage may vary.

I've had a few times where women looked very disappointed at me when I took off my hat. I try to wear it less now so they see my bald head right away. People tell me it fits me and I have a good head/skull whatever. But I still fucking hate balding. It's still a taboo. When I was 19 I already saw something happening but everybody told I was crazy. A few years later I was playing around with my hair and pulled it because it feels nice. I pulled out whole hands of hairs. It was fucked up. Next day I buzzed it again (did this when I was 15, so knew what it would look like). I think it must have been stress induced also. A mix of both.

Anyways, trying dermarolling and peppermint oil but I'm such a slacker. 4/5 days alcohol, fast food and a fucked up sleeping rhythm is not helping either. I work as a nightclub photographer.

Or you can shave it and just let it go or your third option is to put money away for a hair transplant in a few years. I personally would do the HT option as they're getting more affordable and more effective but if you decide on the HT option I would strongly recommend going on fin or minoxidil as soon as possible, preferably both to slow or halt any further recession, you'll get the best results from the HT that way. I've seen really good hair transplant results like guys going from a NW3 back to NW1 but if you want lasting results that look natural you need to do your research and pick the right doctor meaning you'll want someone who actually specializes in hair transplants.
