This thread is about the appreciation of luxury wristwatches, as well as the micro-engineering and materials engineering that are required to make a functioning luxury wristwatch. Unless you make 200K and fuck ladyboys on the reg you aren't welcome in here.

Archie grew up in a very middle class household, in a very middle class area, with a very middle class upbringing. His original source of wealth for getting into luxury goods collection was a computer retail shop he opened during the big tech boom of the late '80s and early '90s. He did pretty good in that for quite a while, but after the collapse of the tech industry, he had to close up shop and go to work as a corporate IT contractor, and from there he kept falling further down the corporate ladder until he ended up doing IT for a waste management landfill company, which was the last job he held before going full time e-beggar. It was during his years as an IT contractor in the early 2000s that he caught the yellow fever after being sent on business trips to Bangkok and the other Southeast Asian fleshpots.

Currently saving simultaneously for a speedmaster and explorer I (which I want to pick up both the same day even if I can afford one months earlier)
